NP: The author, 1969. First edition. 8vo. 78, (10) pp. Illustrated from photographs, plates, double-page bird's-eye view of the town, slang dictionary for the industry, old ads. Inscribed by the author in 1974. Pocahontas, Virginia, lies on the border with West Virginia in Tazewell County; coal fields, of course, straddle the border. Much more uncommon than the 1983 reprint. Illustrated tan wrappers, stapled. Very good.
