About This Item
Chicago and New York: Rand McNally, 1904. Book. Illus. by Brown, Howard V.. Good. Cloth. Reprint. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Chicago, Rand McNally, 1904. Reprint. 8vo. Tan cloth with dark green lettering and artwork embossed onto spine and front board, illustrated in black and white throughout, 183 pp. "Edition of 1923". A wonderful book about early humans, their daily lives, how they survived, and what influenced their survival decisions. Lavishly illustrated by Howard V. Brown. A real gem! Rare! Some shelf-wear on corners of bindings, bottom front corner worn to board, creases on front interior endpaper, possibly from the heavy embossing on front board, small tear and light water stains on bottom of first few pages, 5/8" tear on half-title page, rest of text block is clean, crisp and bright. Good..
