New York: Frederick A. Stokes, 1926. This is a 7th printing with red cloth covers and gold lettering,front hinge is cracked all the way showing the webbing,inside front cover has a bookplate of the original owner(same name as author inscribed to),1st leaf has a name and 1927, and then below that another non author inscription long one dated spring 1976.The author has done an inscription on the 1st title page "For,______,with the best wishes,of,Louis Bromfield. Its his handwriting and signature(I have 2 other examples personally). The book has a sunned spine(medium) with the titles still very readable,minor rubbing and fraying beginning at the spine ends,but still a very presentable copy of a hard to find signed directly Pulitzer Winner.. Hard Cover. Good-Very Good/No Jacket.
