University of North Carolina Press, 1941. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. Hardcover. Limited edition of 900 copies, of which this is # 114. Hardcover in slipcase. This limited edition was sponsored by the North Carolina Society of the Colonial Dames of America, containing a special eight page section on three houses owned and restored by the Society. Clean dark green tweed cloth boards with the Society of Colonial Dames gold seal on front cover and title on spine. Decorative map endpapers are clean. Text pages are crisp and clean. Tan slipcase with wrap around black and white illustrated photo and book description label tipped in. Slipcase is worn and chipped at edges, with soil and rubbing throughout.
