Bound in 3/4 leather and matching cloth boards with titles present to the front board. Paperback issued in stapeled wraps. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. Lengthy note from William Eads present to the in memoriam text discussing the life of his wife to his son. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. William Eads was born in Cynthia, Kentucky and died in Carrolltton, MO was the first President of the Las Vegs Savings bank - 1890-91. This eminently prominent banker, also having served as president of the San Miguel National Bank, helped to organize both institutions. Mr Eads moved to Las Vegas in 1884 and was a teacher, then a lawyer before embarking on his successful career as a banker. EB; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
