Washington: Government Printing Office, 1852. Mr. Giddings, from the Committee on Territories, made the following report: The Committee on Territories, to whom was referred the memorial of E. G. Chambers and twenty others, praying that Congress would bestow upon them the means of surveying and locating a wagon-road from the Missouri river to the Pacific ocean, and also bestow lands along said road on which to commence settlements. 32d Congress, 2d Session, Rep. No. 2, House of Representatives. February 1, 1852. Interesting plea to Congress asking for assistance to emigrants traveling to California. 2 pp. Disbound government document. Foxing/browning on page, but text easily legible. Document is in Good+ condition.. Paperbound. Good+. Size: Approx. 5 3/4" x 9". Government Document.
