About fine copy with the tiniest hint of edge wear in a near fine dust jacket with a trace of age toning and a 1/4” tear to the top edge of the rear panel. A comprehensive critical study of James Joyce’s work. From the rear panel of the dust jacket: “This is the first book to make extensive use of the large collection of Joyce letters, manuscripts and biographical data assembled by John Jermain Slocum and now deposited in the Yale University Library.”
