Boston: L.C. Page, 1899. First edition of this collection of golf short stories by the father of American football. Octavo, original cloth, frontispiece of a woman golfer by H.C. Ireland, vignette on title page, top edge gilt. Inscribed by Walter Camp in the year of publication on the front free endpaper, "Louis, with my best wishes, Walter Camp. Xmas 99." Near fine in the rare original dust jacket with light wear and restoration to the extremities. Inscribed first editions in the original dust jacket are exceptionally rare.
