About This Item

Philadelphia / New York: J.B. Lippincott, 1971. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. First American hardcover edition, preceded by an American paperback original and an English hardcover. A well-used Lippincott editor's copy with a modest dampstain in the upper corner of the first few leaves, about 17 corrections or notes on the front pastedown in pencil, overall near very good in a fair only dust jacket with a short, internally repaired tear and some pervasive staining, mostly visible only on the inside. The second Travis McGee title published in hardcover in this country, and in our experience one of the three hardest to find (along with *Pale Gray for Guilt* and *Darker Than Amber*). McGee tracks wandering hippies into the drug havens of Mexico. A compromised but presetnable copy of a scarce title.

Synopsis

Dress Her in Indigo (1969) is the eleventh novel in the Travis McGee series by John D. MacDonald. In it, McGee is asked to investigate what happened to young woman after she disappeared in to the expat subculture of hippies and drug addicts in Mexico.
