An uncommon, first edition of this psychological thriller by Roger Manvell, in the original, unclipped dust wrapper and wraparound band. First edition. Bound in the publisher's original cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper and the promotional wraparound band. Written by English director and novelist, Roger Manvell, who was the first director of the British Film Academy, writing many books on the subject.'The Dreamers' is a psychological thriller, labelled on the cover as 'A novel of terror'. The story follows a series of characters experiencing particularly terrible dreams, with the torment of these nightmares leaving them very shaken. The dreaming intensifies, bringing an evil into the dreamers lives, leading to fear, anguish and in some cases, death. Bound in the publisher's original cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper and the promotional wraparound band. Externally, excellent. Light offsetting to endpapers and one or two marks to the fore edge. Dust wrapper is also very smart, with light edge wear and slight age toning, heavier to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
