Caroline is said to have had a five-year affair with prominent Conservitive politician Sidney Herbert. Book measures 23x15.cm. Collation, x,301,[1],pp, complete with half title, engraved frontis. Bound in original publishers blind stamped cloth. Professionally rebacked with part of the original spine. Binding in very good clean firm condition. Internally, short tear on half title. Pages in good clean condition. A very nice, rare inscribed copy.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Period Cloth. Very Good. 8vo.
