Grosset & Dunlap. NY., 1907 Book size about 7 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches with unnumbered pages. Bound in light brown cloth with full front cover color pictorial paste-on. Front cover lettering in gilt, spine lettering in dark brown. Tissue guarded color frontis and numerous full page color illustrations by Harrison Fisher. Page decorations by E Stetson Crawford. Originally published in 1907 by Bobbs Merrill this book has a customer note at the front dated 1910. The book is the same quality as the original edition. G & D appears to have used the same paper stock and binding materials as the original publisher, just adding their name on the spine bottom and title page. Laid-in is a hand drawn Valentine dated '07. Book with slight wear. NEAR FINE. Illustrated Edition.. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket.
