London: Phaidon Press Ltd, 1947. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 4to 11" - 13" tall. Sturdy, attractive, tightly bound hardcover, clean, if toned, minimal rubbing to extremities. Bound handsomely in an orange cloth cover, with sharp and distinct gilt lettering to cover and spine. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, little worn front panel, ding to middle of rear panel, protected by a plastic coat. 85 pp. of text, then a concordance of numbers, then a long range of 156 mostly black-and-white plates, but some in full color, quite fine. Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
