Edinburgh: Gall & Inglis. Good. circa 1871. This is a pretty book but not readable without a strong magnifying glass. Biinding is green cloth with gilt, black, and red decoration - a deeply embossed emblem of a muse with lyre on front cover. All edges gilt - somewhat dulled. The spine is lightly worn at ends as are the corners. Front inner hinge paper is split. Primarily a decorative item with the type size. ; Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall; 944 pages .
