London: C. Chapple, 1808. Hardcover. First Edition. 4 x 7.25in. xii. 1048pp. 12 engraved plates. Bound in recent library buckram. Ex-library copy with The Brooklyn Mercantile Library stamps at the bottom text-bloc edges, front and back paste-downs and endpapers, and title pages. Slight browning to the text-block, some early pages lightly thumbed, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is unmarked, and the boards remain distinct. As pictured.
