New York: Viking. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1952. Hardcover. Third printing. Black w/gold spine lettering, stamped in blind on the front board. viii, 328 pp. Index. Maps. Drawings by Olga Ley, the author's wife (except for one cave drawing). Ley was a German-American science writer and space advocate who helped popularize rocketry and space flight in both Germany and the United States. The crater Ley on the far side of the Moon is named in his honor. A clean, straight copy. The dust jacket is price clipped, edge worn with small chips and tears; tape applied to the spine to hold library mark. From the library of Stevenson House Library and so stamped on the ffep. Now in a new archival cover. A nice copy. ; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall; 328 pages .
