Illustration at page 64 lacking and apparently never bound in; pencil ownership name on front endpaper dated 1876. Splitting to front hinge but covers still firm. Fraying to spine tips. Very Good. Original brick cloth stamped in black and gilt. Second American Edition but the first that is illustrated. First published in the U.S. as DR. OX, AND OTHER STORIES in 1874, the same year as the First English Edition, which had the same title as the present edition. Profusely illustrated.
