The Dow Theory by Rhea, Robert - 1932

First developed by Charles Dow (editor of the "Wall Street Journal"), he described stock market trends and developed signals for trading in the late 19th century, but never wrote a book about his ideas. Robert Rhea combed through Dow's editorials and previous authors (notably William Hamilton) and who had examined Dow's work to come up with a comprehensive analysis of the Dow Theory. His work resulted in this book published in May 1932. The appendix comprises about half of the book and contains relevant editorials by Harrison that refined the Dow Theory. This copy is the 8th 1932 printing. Original publisher's blue cloth covers with gilt spine and cover lettering. The covers have spotting, a couple of small nicks to the spine, and some wear to the extremities (especially to the top of the spine). There is a previous owner's bookplate on the front free end paper, a light stain to the corner of the same end paper, and a very slight musty ordor for those who may be sensitive. ; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 252 pages .
