Moderate shelf wear, darkening and slant to spine, endpapers split at hinges (binding sound); good. "Novel describing the experiences of a family from Ontario who immigrated to the Red River Settlement. The book was obviously written to attract immigrants. An appendix informs the prospective immigrant about routes to Red River." -Peel 614.
