NY: Viking Press; (1965). First Edition . Hardcover. First printing, very good in a very good dust jacket. Minor edgewear to the book; the front board has just a slight flare at the foredge. The jacket has some rubbing, tiny chips at corners and spine ends, and a 1" closed tear at the top of the front panel. Inscribed by the author on the front endpaper and dated 12/23/65 - the inscription reads: "For Charles Fergus - with best wishes - Rex Stout".
