Signed presentation from O'Higgins to actress Harriet Ford on the front endpaper: "To Miss Harriet Ford- Of "The Fourth Estate" and "The Boost and the Bungle." From the publisher, the book-seller and the proud author. H.J. O'Higgins." A novel set at the University of Ontario in Canada. Harriet French Ford Morgan (1863-1949) was an American actress and playwright who flourished during the latter part of the 19th century. She co-authored "The Fourth Estate" and "The Argyle Case" with O'Higgins. 12mo., decorative black cloth, stamped gilt & white, binding designed by "DD"; 412 pages. Very Good (little edgewear with stampings on spine somewhat dull; contents clean & tight).
