London: The Unicorn Press, 1897. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition. Issue number one. Small square quarto. Full-page illustrations and plates, including some in color, and printed music. In the original paper-covered boards stamped in gold on both covers and in black on spine, pictorial endpapers printed in red and black. The boards and spine are rubbed and faded, free endpapers are toned, else very good or better. Includes sections on art, architecture, literature, and music, with literary contributions by Laurence Binyon, Lily Dougall, among others, engravings and artworks by Martin Schongauer, Andrea Mantegna, Sandro Botticelli, and others. The scarce first issue of this short lived *fin de siècle* arts magazine.
