Gilt decoration & lettering. Marbled endpapers with early owner's bookplate. Speckled page edges. Hinges & text tight & intact. Leaves are clean with light age toning & an occasional rare spot. Inked out signatures on title page. Hinges starting with covers firm. Upper corners rubbed. Tiny dots of book worming on latter half of leaves in upper front margin only; not interfering with text. Rear free endpaper removed. A collection of Hippocratic writings. The Greek texts are given together with a Latin translation by the editor, Rodolphe Le Maitre. -The book is dedicated to King Louis XII. Medical ; 24mo 5" - 6" tall; 429 pages .
