East Aurora, NY: The Roycrofters, 1909. Twelve illustrations in black and red on butcher's paper by Burt Barneson. Decorations by Dard Hunter, although not credited in the book. Very Good, quarter brown suede over grey paper covered boards with matching grey end papers, outer layer of suede peeling at top edge pf spine, rubbing to suede along spine, light wear to boards, title and following half-title pages are uncut, remainder of the book is cut, pages either side of illusttrations are uniformly toned. SCARCE in current commerce in collectible condition. . . First Edition. Quarter Suede . Very Good/No Jacket, As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
