Vintage program for three days of screenings of the classic British science fiction television series at the 1979 Los Angeles Science Fiction, Horror, and Fantasy Convention. Program includes an introduction, a brief history of the television series, synopses of the episodes starring Tom Baker, and a biography of Baker.
Presented by Los Angeles television station KBSC TV-52, the marathon of 98 commercial-free episodes was the surprise hit of the convention. Boasting three screening rooms at the Marriott Hotel, the convention designated one room the "Dr. Who Theater," which continuously played episodes from the beloved series throughout the weekend of the convention.
8.5 x 11 inches. 14 pages, partially bound with a single staple at the top left corner. Xerographic reproduction. Near Fine.
