Pencil marking to rear free endpaper. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Light tanning and chipping to leather to spine and edges. There are eighty full page illustrations drawn and coloured after the originals by T. Rowlandson. This book is a classic poem in the form of a play, rhythmically rhymed and fun to read. Book was published after 1872 as determined by examining a thirty page list of "very important new books Special list for 1872" at the rear of the book.
