First Edition. Octavo. 671 pp. Illustrated dust jacket. Blue boards stamped in gilt. Two unrelated autograph letters signed dated 1876 laid in at front. Both housed in a Clarendon Hotel envelope.
Dust jacket shows light wear and a few nicks along edges with some rubbing to spine. Boards show light shelfwear and gilt along spine dulled. Binding sound and pages unmarked.
History of medicine and doctors in the Pacific Northwest, beginning with Native Americans, continuing to fur traders, the Missionary Period, and on up to World War II.
