Includes St. Louis Cardinals' roster 1934, 18 rare b&w photos, Casey Stengel as Brooklyn Dodgers' manager. a Dean family portrait (1935). The St. Louis Cardinals of 1934 were called "The Gashouse Gang", they won the NL pennant and the World Series. The season is recalled through newspaper accounts. .
