Bologna: Fratelli Masi, 1819. This seven volume Italian dictionary, here bound in four volumes. Published from 1819 to 1826 by Masi, Bologna. Bound in brown buckram with gilt lettered red leather title labels on the spines, and new endpapers. Volume one : Tome 1; xxiii, prelminary pages 238, A: 446 pages , Tome 2: 1820, B-C: 690 pages. Volume two: Tome 3:1821, D-F 704 pages, Tome 4: 1822, G-I, 464 pages. Volume three, Tome 5: 1823, K-M, 465-850 pages, N-R, 5-893 pages. Volume four: Tome 6: 1824, S 5-617 pages, Tome 7: 1826, T-Z 743 pages. 23 X 29 cms. Externally all four volumes have very good sound and solid bindings, in tough buckram cloth very clean tidy and make a very presentable set. Internally all original from 1819 to 1826, all fairly clean and in good order throughout with a bit of browning and spotting to the title pages.
