About This Item

UNCORRECTED PROOF in wraps with a white background with lettering in black, some grey shading, and 'Advance Uncorrected Proof; in white with a black background along the spine. SIGNED & INSCRIBED by the author on the half-title page. Fine. Probably the third state with the interior seemingly identical to the proof in purple wraps. Although this was the third state it seems to be less common than the 'purple wraps' version. Blurbs on the rear cover from Tony Hillerman and the LA Times.
