Comprehensive text presents a detailed study of the Salsigne Gold Mine located at the south-western extremity of the Montagne Noire, France. The main structural elements in chronological order, are an overturned synclinorium, a thrust fault, a series of N-S striking normal faults and a later series of cross-faults. The orebodies are divided into three main classes: vein-like orebodies of the Fontaine de Sante system, the Rameles veins, and the concordant replacement bodies. Includes coverage of statistical analysis of the main minerals- pyrite, arseno-pyrite, pyrrhotite; other minerals including chalcopyrite, galena, spalerite, marcasite and metallic bismuth; and minor elements- Au, Ag Cu, Pb, Bi, Sb and Zn; trace elements; paragenesis studies; mineralization temperature measurements; mineral morphology; microscopic studies of various minerals; etc. 142 pgs.
