Lavishly illustrated throughout including several plates in colour. Publishers' black faux-leather with inset pictorial cover plate onlay to upper board, and gilt titles to spine and upper board. Housed in matching printed pictorial slipcase. Lower corners rubbed. Address label of former owner to front paste-down with inscribed dates; bold Author's signature to ffep without dedication; ffep corner creased otherwise contents clean and bright. Slipcase bumped at spine tips with associated repairs. A Very Good copy in like slipcase. A comprehensive and heavily illustrated history of the Mighty Midgets, the popular small cars adventurously raced in California motorsports from 1914 up to the 1950s. Heavyweight so a contribution towards increased postage costs will be requested for overseas delivery.
