About This Item

Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1939. The book is bright and clean -- bound in orange cloth. The dustwrapper is bright and clean with just a light bit of edgewear to ends of spine. Overall, an unusually nice copy of this scarce first edition and basis for the 1939 Frank Borzage film of the same name that starred Dorothy Lamour and John Howard. Nice inscription penned by the author in the year of publication. . Inscribed and Signed By Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. VG++/Near Fine.
