San Francisco: International Longshore & Warehouse Union, 1990. newspaper. 8p., single issue, 11x17 inch tabloid folded in half; heavily illustrated with b&w photographs, hint of foxing on front page, mild edgewear, else in very good condition. The central organ of the ILWU. Long a left wing inside the labor movement, it has been inside and independent of the AFL-CIO. This issue focuses on international solidarity with the Liverpool Dockers who had been on strike and the refusal of ILWU Local 10 & Local 34 members to cross a community picket line set up on the docks in Oakland against the "Neptune Jade" for delivering cargo from the struck docks in Liverpool.
