"This Little Book Contains An Exact Reprint Of All The Papers On Relations Among The Atomic Weights, And On The Periodic Law (Provisionally Termed The 'Law Of Octaves'), Written By Myself (Newlands) And Printed In The 'Chemical News', Some Years Before M. Mendelejeff Had Published Anything On The Subject Of The Periodic Law." Covers Are Immaculate With Bright Gilt Lettering, An Exceptional Copy With No Wear But A Few Nicks To The Cloth, Otherwise Fine: Rear Spine Gutter Has 1/2" Loss Of Cloth And Two Circular 1/16" Areas With Loss Of Cloth. Rear Panel Fore Edge Has 1/4" Loss Of Cloth Near Bottom And Several Miniscule "Pinholes".
