London: New English Library, 1986 Book. Illus. by B & W Photos. Very Good. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Original black cloth on boards with gilt lettering on spine. Black dustjacket features black and white photo of Dylan, with lettering in white, red and gold. Dustjacket has edge and corner tears, and the paper at the top of the spine has been repaired with clear tape. The author was a music reviewer for the New York Times in the 1960's. Although he is described as a "friend" of Dylan, this is an unauthorized biography of "this moody, passionate genius and his world." Index. Heavy book will require extra postage..
