A young artist, Jimson, decides to travel the galaxy despite knowing that if he does he has only a year to live. He meets a former lover, Russell, who is now a space captain. Russell has been hired by an Art lover to steal a crystal mask on a far distant planet called Demea. So Jimeson, Russell and a crew go on a highly illegal trip, which turns into a race against time.
