Original printed wraps, light creasing an chipping to edges, tear to upper right corner of rear cover, creasing to rear cover and spine. Page edges untrimmed and many pages are unopened. Foxing to page edges and margins, occasional patches of light foxing to the text. Many illustrations within the text. An early German language edition of Tyndall's 'Heat Considered as a Mode of Motion', rare in the original wrappers. Overall condition is Very Good. Size: 5.5 x 9 inches (14 x 22.5 cm). Paperback.
