About 1500 coloured photos, brief description of 2900 items from all over the world, plus 127 page introduction to the subject under various different headings, fully illustrated with numerous additional coloured illustrations. Tiniest bump to lower corner of lower cover, otherwise Fine New copy still in the original shrink wrap. Superb, important and invaluable reference work, with no equivalent in any other European language which although giving prominence to books illustrated by German artists, gives plenty of space to French, Italian and English artists.
