New York: Coalition of Publishers for Employment, 1985. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket as Issued. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Al Hirschfeld -SIGNED. 31 pp. illustrated. 8vo. Illustrated cloth covered boards. Light soiling to cloth, a couple of tiny brown spots to text edge and rear board verso. Insribed in 1996 by Wilk to prior owners, and signed by Hirschfeld 5/18/1985 on title page. Humorous biographical sketches and notes on S. (Sidney) J. Perelman (1904-1979), author, humorist and screenwriter whose credits include Marx Brothers films, Around the World in 80 Days, numerous books, and the New Yorker Magazine. Both Wilk, who died in 2011 and Hirschfeld (1903-2003) were good friends with Perelman.
