Full mottled tan calf with 5 raised bands, gilt particulars, and a brown leather label to spine. Fourteen folding plates throughout two volumes. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown of each volume, most likely Jacques-Marie Deschamps, a French 18th–19th-century playwright, librettist and writer. Green silk ribbon present but detached. Volume 1 covers terms from "A mi la, A la mi re" to "la Melodie." Volume 2 covers terms from "Naturel" to "Za." Lacking head of Vol. 1 spine. Previous evidence of worming to front hinge of vol. 1 (see image). Vol. 1: xvi, 504 pp.; Vol. 2: 372 pp. 4 x 7 inches.
