Foreign publication, text entirely in Arabic. 497 pages. Stated first edition. A dictionary of Muslim scholars containing brief biographies of both Arabic and Persian writers. Original paper wrappers now re-cased in hardcover. Reference number in pencil on front free end-paper, else no previous ownership marks. Raised bands on spine and extremities of covers show rubbing.
