Najaf, Iraq: Literature Pres, 1964. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover, light blue raised spine lettered in gold over deep blue coarse grained paper covered boards. Foreign publication, text entirely in Arabic. 497 pages. Stated first edition. A dictionary of Muslim scholars containing brief biographies of both Arabic and Persian writers. Original paper wrappers now re-cased in hardcover. Reference number in pencil on front free end-paper, else no previous ownership marks. Raised bands on spine and extremities of covers show rubbing. A clean, sound, tight and internally unmarked copy. Very good. Text in Arabic. Please see our scans of title page or request additional scans if needed..
