Harrisburg, PA: Board of Commissioners for the Geological Survey, 1889. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Hardcover/ no DJ; VG condition. An Original- NOT a modern Reprint. Apparent First (only?) edition, c. 1889- same year on title page. Ex library of the California State Mining Bureau, San Francisco- only 2 stamps, NO pocket or other library indicators. Black, stamped decorative cloth binding shows trace of rubbing, light edge & corner wear. Gold spine lettering crisp & intact. No significant bumps or frays. Maybe a hint of sun to spine (but maybe not?). Copy displays very well. Very narrow hinge split prior to 1st page of text, but binding & text are FIRMLY & tightly bound. Text is clean & unmarked w/ only light toning. Handsome, well preserved copy. ***Reliable, fast! (115)
