About This Item

New York, NY Harper & Row: Icon Editions, 1979. Hardcover First Edition [1979], so stated. First Edition [1979], so stated. Very Good+ in Very Good+ DJ: Both book and DJ show indications of very careful use. The Book shows just a touch of wear to extremities; an extremely thin line of sunning at the top edge of the panels; a former bookseller's pencil price has been partially erased at the upper corner of the front free endpaper; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Former owner's name in small letters at the upper corner of the front endpaper. Free of other ownership dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, or labels. The DJ shows only a touch of wear to the outside edges: a couple of tiny nicks at the head of the front hinge and backstrip; a half-inch tear at the top of the rear panel; else only very mild rubbing; the price, however, has been clipped; mylar-protected. Overall, remains a handsome, lightly used copy with some minor flaws in a like DJ. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (9.25 x 6.35 x 1.25 inches). xii, 390 pages. Weight: 1 pound, 11.5 ounces. Hardback with DJ.
