This book is a collection of records: Marriages 1805-1849; Wills 1804-1856; Estate Settlements 1823-1841; Vital Statistics or death, cause of death, whether married or single, and where the person was born; Deeds 1804-1816; Military records including Confederate soldiers; Circuit Court miscellany which included estate sales and settlements, divorce petitions, guardianships, bastardy charges, etc.; Dickson County Gazette, which is a listing of tons, villages, post offices, as well as churches and their locations here known; and a chronology which lists only some events or highlights in the history of Dickson County..
