Author's 3rd book, orig. published in 1937, here in its First Tower Books Edition from World Publishing, Feb. 1946 (First, thus). With light-blue paper over boards stamped with red design & lettering to front & spine, this hardcover 8vo is in Near Fine condition: completely clean, binding tight & square. pages moderately tanned, heavier around edges, but completely supple & unmarked. Minor rubbing to extremities. The unclipped DJ is VG, with rubbed edges & corners & many small chips; nicely protected in nonreflective mylar cover.
