Dresden: "Sturm" Zigaretten, 1933. Hardcover. Very Good. 2 albums containing a total of 480 color cigarette cards of German uniforms covering the years 1864 to 1914. Each volume has 40 pages with mounted cards and 12 unpaginated pages of text interspersed; 25 x 28 cm. Red spines with black spine titles; red-and-black embossed cover titles on white background. Band 2 includes "Album IV" on the cover. Each cover has an embossed portrait within a red cicular background. Differing back cover illustrations in black. No date of publication, but each has an introduction dated 1933. The 40 numbered pages in each volume are heavier brown card with descriptive text printed in brown below the cards; a glassine sheet separates facing pages of cards. Dealer's label on back fixed endpaper of each volume for Lenard L. Babin, Rochester, N.Y. Band 2 is very scarce. In Very Good Condition: edges of covers are rubbed; white covers are soiled, as is to be expected; pages and cards are clean and bright.
