Hardcover edition published by Bibliotheque Nationale de France, 2003. French language edition. 9-3/4" X 11", 292 pages, sewn binding, copper cloth covered spine. No dust jacket, but I'm not certain if this edition was issued with a dust jacket. This is a thorough survey of the art collection of the National Library of France, with an emphasis on the artworks of the Renaissance. Each artwork is pictured and critiqued on the facing page. Artists represented in the volume include: Durer, Van Cleve, Errard, Salviati, Delaune, Casalini, Bronzino, Vasari, and many many more. This copy is not a remainder, not a library discard. No writing on the text, no former ownership marks. The text is clean, the boards are crisp with no bumped corners. Wear is limited to the first flyleaf and the facing title page, where what looks like a piece of tape was removed, lifting some of the color from both pages. The mark is about an inch long and half inch wide. Again the text is entirely in French. The photos attached are of the copy we have in our inventory, not stock photos. Considering the weight of the book, international buyers would be required to pay additional postage
