(Denton, Texas), 6 x 9 5/8 inches tall blue cloth hardcover, no dust jacket (as issued), gilt lettering to front cover, illustrated with black-and-white photographs, index, [5], 54 pp. Photocopied letter from author laid in. Moderate to heavy soiling, staining, rubbing and edgewear to covers. Very slight foxing to front and rear prelims, including title page. Small, light dampstain to top margin of about 10 pages. Three or four pages with red ink marginal tick marks.Despite these detractions, still a decent copy of this scarce genealogy and family history. ~QQ~ [1.5P] Looks at the ancestry of, and traces the known descendants of, John Garrison (circa 1760-1853) of Sumner County, Tennessee.
