Hardcover. 1sr. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. from Essex Institute Historical Collections, Vol., XII no. 1. with erretta slip and handwritten additions of family members, dates etc in rear index and note section. This is the original 1st edition bound in 1/4 leather and cloth board with "The Northend Family" stamped in Gilt on front cover. quarto measuring 10 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches. 16pp including index and appendix. Endpapers marbled and all edges Gilt. very thin book at that. some bumps and wear to corners and rubbing to colth. The interior is clean and bright with the additions accomplished in a neat fashion probually late 19th Century. from the late 17th Century through the 7th Generation in 1875 (with some penciled in additions).
